Ignoble vegetables

America’s general obsession with perfect, polished food and overly confusing “sell by” “use by” “best by” dates cost us tons of money and wasted food.
These are bell peppers and zucchini/yellow squash I hot on clearance for a grand total of $8 a savings of about $20
A little bit of time cutting them and freezing them (we use them usually in 3 months so no blanching) makes it worth it.
