Pumpkin slaughter

$2.96 for large Berry Ranch (local) Pumpkin
Yield:
1.5 cups of garlic olive oil roasted pumpkin seeds
9 cups of frozen pumpkin puree (unseasoned and drained)
5-6 cups of frozen sweetened pumpkin butter (8 cups of puree reduced with Apple juice and brown sugar to a thick “butter”)
4-5 cups of pumpkin pie filling/custard (extra unfrozen pumpkin butter w/5 eggs, 1 cup milk and 1/2 cup sugar baked and topped with crumble)
4 quarts of pumpkin potato corn chowder for my mom

I have 1 even larger pumpkin to deal with in a few weeks
