The Romance of Fiction or the Fiction of Romance

We all have ideas in our minds about how we want a person (man or woman we are interested in) to romance us:
The words we wish they would say
The public decelerations of love for all to see
The quotes and pictures posted to us
The random flowers and gifts that they got just because they thought of us
The songs we wish they would sing to us or at least dedicate to us
The poems we dream they would write for us
The moments of fiction inspired perfection that no one can truly live up to……
OH yeah that is the problem isn’t it?
We have had movies and books telling us how love should be expressed, how our love can never compete with those well thought out in advance and perfectly scripted “spontaneous outbursts of devotion” for that one perfect person that will sweep you off your feet and continue to do so forever.
Here is the thing though… FICTION.. Mr Darcy? FICTION, a Woman sat alone and scripted every perfect word from his mouth, she did not quote them, she made them up. Rhett Buttler? FICTION, a Woman sat alone and scripted every perfect word from his mouth, she did not quote them, she made them up.
the person you love may never Be PERFECT but they are real, love them for that, love them for the look of desire and affection they have for you everyday, love them because they have a song in their mind for you even if they never sing it. Love them and accept that the love they return is the true gift they can give you

Alex saw this quote board while I was looking at Pinterest and he pointed it out and then leaned over and kissed me without a word….. Romance comes in all kinds of ways
